Subshrub, erect up to 80 cm tall, trailing to climbing. Stem subterete, 1-3 in diameter, internodes, 7-20 cm, young part uncinate pubescence.  Leaves 3-foliate, petioles, 2-9 cm, densely pubescence becoming glabrous, ; stipules , ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, strigose, 5-10 (12-18) by 2-5 mm; Leaflets, thick, petiolules, rugose, 4-5 mm, pubescence ; stipels, lanceolate-linear, 3-9 by 1 mm; lamina, various , oblong, elliptic –oblong, lanceolate, oblong-oblanceolate, ovate , elliptic-ovate, 5-11 by 2.5-6 cm, apex obtuse, short acuminate, mucronate 1 mm, base broadly cuneate to rotund, primary nerves 10-14 (17) pairs, upper surface, dark green, glabrous or uncinate pubescence on midrib, lower surface pale green,  sericeous. Inflorescence,  axillary, 0.5-2 cm long, (2-) 4- to 6-flowered or 2-4 fascicled; peduncles 3-13 (20) mm, pubescence uncinate, pedicels, 3-6 mm; bracts, ovate, acuminate to acute, uncinate pubescence, inner pair, caduous, 2 by 1 mm, middle pair, persistent, 4-7 by 1.5-2 mm, outer pair, 3-5 by 1 mm, bracteoles , lanceolate, acuminate, 7-12 by 2-3 mm, uncinate pubescence, Flowers white, 3.5-4.5 cm, calyx tube, 9-12 by 2-4 mm at base, expanding 5-7 mm at throat, 10-nerved, lobes, ovate-lanceolate, long acuminate, 9-15 by 2-3 mm , ventral lobes 11-17 mm, Corolla, standard, densely pubescence, strigose, blade 2-3 cm, claw 4-5 mm,  wing, extended beyond keel 4-5 mm, blade 13-15 by 4-6 mm, claw 8-11 mm, keel, subfalcate, 7-8 by 3-4 mm, claw 13-16 mm, uncinate pubescence. Staminal tube, 1.7-2.2 cm, free filaments 1-3 mm, anther 1-1.3 by 0.7-1 mm. Gynophore 3 mm, uncinate pubescence. Ovary 8-9 by 0.7-0.9 mm, densely uncinate pubescence, style 13-16 mm, geniculate 4-5 mm, stigma capitate, Pods, stipitate, ecostate, brown, 4-5.5 by 0.7-0.9 cm, young pod uncinate pubescence becoming glabrous when mature, beak 2-7 mm, dehiscent. Seeds, dark brown- black, 4-4.5 by 4-5 mm, 2-3 mm thick, 4-8 seeds per pod.
